The movie 'Murder Ahoy (1964)' is about Miss Marple investigates the murder of one of her fellow trustees of a fund which rehabilitates young criminals. To investigate she goes aboard the ship used to train the juveniles, much to the distress of the Captain. She soon stumbles onto more murders, and a ring of thieves.. Murder Most Foul is the third of four Miss Marple films made by MGM. Loosely based on the novel "Mrs McGinty's Dead" by Agatha Christie, it stars Margaret Rutherford as Miss Jane Marple, Bud Tingwell as Inspector Craddock, and Stringer Davis (Rutherford's real-life husband) as Mr Stringer. The story is ostensibly based on the original Christie story, but notably changes the action and characters. Hercule Poirot is replaced by Miss Marple and most other characters are not in the original story.. Movie's year of release is 1964 and was directed by George Pollock. Very enjoyable crime movie , love it!
